The bread bags are #7 recyclable (mixed plastic). While most curbside programs don’t accept these, you can recycle them at most grocery stores or reuse them around your house (they make great sandwich bags!). We chose these bags because of their barrier properties that keep the bread fresher longer and reduce food waste without sacrificing our clean, pronounceable, and short ingredient deck.

And, to be honest, we’re not super thrilled about the lack of easy recyclability and we are continually looking for ways to evolve our packaging.
